Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back, I hope you all had a lovely half term break.  This half term the weather can be changeable.  Can you please ensure children bring a waterproof coat into school.  Jogging bottoms for PE are also a welcome addition to PE kits during the colder months as we still do PE outside.

Staffing

As you know Mrs Trafford is expecting a baby.  She was hoping to work a bit longer but has decided to start her maternity leave today.  I know you join me in wishing her and her family well at this exciting time.

Today we welcome Mrs Mclardie to Year 6.  She will cover Y6 while Mrs Lupton is off school.

Remembrance Day

As always, poppies will be available in school from 5th November to support the British Legion fundraising for service men and women and their families. Please send a minimum of 20p for a poppy if you wish to support this. We are also selling reflectors and wristbands for £1.00 and zip pulls for 50p. These will be brought round to classrooms each day from tomorrow. Please note wristbands must not to be worn after 11th November.
